We encourage you to confirm your eligibility and benefits for "Outpatient Mental Health Services" with your insurance company prior to beginning a counseling relationship by calling the number on the back of your insurance card. Your insurance representative can help you determine which services are covered under your insurance plan.
Alternatively, contact us and we will assist with verification of your benefits; however, we will not be able to guarantee any insurance coverage or reimbursement.
We understand that therapy sessions can be costly; however, we will work collaboratively with you to provide the appropriate type of services and support to you in effecting change, improving your overall well-being, and repairing, restoring, and revitalizing your relationships.
Our name, Semillas, is inspired by the Spanish word for "seeds"

As one might meet with a fitness coach, financial planner or nutritionist, your mental health needs are equally as important. By investing in your mental health now, you may experience a more positive lifestyle in the future.

When contacting your insurance to verify your benefits you may wish to ask the questions below.
If you elect to use out-of-network benefits, we will charge our full-fee and our office will provide you, upon your request, a super-bill so that you may seek reimbursement from your insurance company.
Do you wish to pay fees privately or out-of-pocket?
From time to time, some clients elect to not involve insurance companies for their counseling services. Paying out-of-pocket for therapy sessions prevents your treatment from being limited by a mental health diagnosis, treatment plan, or a set number of sessions. Some policies do not cover individual, couples/relational or family therapy.
Additionally, a diagnosis is needed when utilizing insurance for counseling services, which also becomes part of your permanent health record. Insurance companies have full right to all your records. Unfortunately, certain mental health diagnoses may carry a stigma and can be utilized in the future to justify decisions related to life insurance policies, as well as security screenings for certain employers.
For clients who elect to pay out-of-pocket, a Good Faith Estimate will be provided in compliance with the "No Surprise Act," a new federal law that went into effect on January 1, 2022.
Fees for our individuals, couples, and family counseling sessions are as follows:

*Other fees may be applicable from time to time depending on the service received and the length of a therapy session. The fee information described on this page is not intended to be a comprehensive fee schedule. All fees set forth herein remain subject to change without notice.
