Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Emily provides psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. Her work is grounded in developmental, cognitive-behavioral, and systems theories, and is client-centered, solution-focused, and strengths-based. Emily uses talk therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), mindfulness, relaxation/stress reduction, and skill building strategies to assist clients to develop strengths and find the tools necessary to create a sense of self-awareness.
Additionally, she is a registered yoga teacher and has trained in a trauma-sensitive yoga approach, which assists clients with addressing traumatic events.
Emily received her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago. She has over 10 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families with a range of developmental, health-related, and psychiatric disorders.
Emily seeks to create a warm, safe, collaborative, and supportive environment to assist clients in beginning the change process and finding a resolution.
